We’re an activewear brand created by women, for women. Women who strength train, women who love to move. Women who take up space – physically, mentally, unapologetically. Because we believe every woman deserves to feel strong in her mind, body and spirit – and look amazing in the process!
Our founder story
“I want to help as many women as possible see the benefits of moving their bodies.”
Krissy Cela founded Oner Active in 2020 after she became a personal trainer and struggled to find flattering activewear that combined empowering colours with performance properties. She began by customising her own leggings and creating her own designs, before quickly realising there was a gap in the market for products made by women, for women who lift – and want to look good doing so!
“Oner active isn’t just an activewear brand; it’s a movement that promises to inspire and uplift generations to come.”
Our Values

Everything we create is with you in mind – from the purposeful design details to our technical fabrics. Our pieces redefine strength and femininity, giving you versatile looks that move with you – from the gym to whatever’s next. Here’s how we make it happen.
By Women, For Women
Every design is thoughtfully created, tested and perfected by Krissy Cela and our female-led Oner Active Product team. Oner Active proudly boasts an 87% female workforce, ensuring we genuinely represent you.
Fostering Communities
We’re not just an activewear brand. We actively bring to life our mission to make women stronger via our global community events, our athlete programme and our sponsorship of Project Power, inspiring young girls to move their bodies. Find out more in Who We’re For.
Our community comes first. The brand? That comes second. We want to bring women together to share unique experiences and foster a movement that extends far beyond fitness.
TRANSPARENCY
We believe in keeping things real with you. As a young and fast-growing company, we know we’re not perfect, but we’re committed to being as transparent as possible.
We’re constantly evolving – improving our processes, reducing our environmental impact, and making more responsible choices. We still have a way to go, but here’s what we’ve done so far.
ETHICAL PRODUCTION PRACTICES
We care about where and how our products are made. That’s why all our factories go through independent audits to ensure they meet globally recognised social and environmental standards. These audits cover everything from fair labour practices to workplace safety and environmental impact.
The organisations we work with for certification include Sedex, BSCI, Smeta, GRS, OCS, Oeko-Tex and SLCP.
At Oner, we’re serious about ethical production and human rights. We recognise modern slavery, including forced labour and human trafficking, is a global issue, and we’re committed to ensuring our supply chain upholds dignity and respect for everyone involved.
Beyond compliance, we also look for factory partners that go the extra mile – those that have initiatives in place to improve their workers’ lives.
Right now, we manufacture our garments in four countries:
- 27% in Turkey
- 36% in China
- 33% in Vietnam
- 4% in Bangladesh
STEPS TOWARDS CIRCULARITY
Sustainability is a journey, and we’re taking steps – big and small – to make a difference. One of our main focuses is sourcing better materials, like organic cotton and recycled fabrics.
We also make sure all production samples from our head office are donated to organisations that can put them to good use.
Here’s what’s next:
- In January 2025, we introduced recycled yarns and we will be phasing in organic cotton and recycled materials where we can.
- By 2026, we’re aiming for all garment and accessory packaging to be 100% recycled.
We can’t wait to continue sharing our journey with you.
